Two Box chron

I have tried mine out against my Magneto speed V3 on my 6BR. 10 shots with my standard load of 31.2 Varget, CCI 450, Lapua brass annealed, Berger 105 VLD, .003 off lands. Runs on V3 2911-2925fps ES 23. On the Two-Box at same time ran 2789-2810fps and 21ES. About 125fps difference. Want to add Lab-radar to the mix as well.
Two-box set up at 15' spacing, 8' from muzzle, and 4' below.
It is a well made unit and I have used the auto-trickler since it came out and very happy. Want to check again and see what Adam has to say. Also temp was over 90f and the boxes were out in the sun and very hot to touch.

I was able to take the two box chrono out for testing yesterday. I bought this system since I do all my testing in the prone position. I shoot FTR and really was intrigued with ease of setup. I shot 40 rounds using the two box chrono. I set the first microphone at 6' away from the muzzle and the second microphone was place the recommended 15'. The farm I shoot at slopes downhill so the second microphone was below the recommended plane causing my velocity to be 150-175 fps lower than previous testing with MS but my ES and SD were roughly the same numbers.

I really enjoyed the ease of setup and use. I did have to raise the first microphone up approximately 1-2" due to my lack of mowing. Initially wasn't able to see the LCD readout. The two box chrono never missed a shot and was pretty simple to use.

I will do a better job next time out to attempt getting both boxes on the same plane as the bullet path to see if I can get a true muzzle velocity. But I do enjoy this system and believe it'll help with my scores and testing.
