Twisted right/left rear bag ??

XXPER

I have seen pictures of the twisted bag and they look interesting.Has anyone tried the twisted Right or left rear bag? If so what do you like or dislike? Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Jim

I have a twisted Edgewood Gator bag and like it a lot. I shoot right handed. The twisted ears allow me to place the bag at about a 20 degree offset to the front rest, and lay the lower part of my right hand on the bag surface. This makes for a very sturdy rest and aids my trigger pull. Also, the long gator is very heavy and does not move on the bench.

XXPER,
I use a SEB big foot rear bag for F-Class and love it. Mine is a straight bag, but my team mate Jim Murphy uses a twisted one and he is happy with his also. SEB also makes a donut to fit it also. The photos on his web site are a bit dated and the newer ones look a little different. I like everything about it.

Either they're special order, or the terminology used to describe them, is not what Edgewood is using: http://www.edgebag.com/index.html Scroll down this Home page and then scroll down the Catalog page too. They may not be manufactured by Edgewood.

I use the Seb with twisted ears. Overall, it's very good. I really like the twisted ear setup for the reasons mentioned. I like the looks and feel a tad better on the Edgewood, to be honest, but both seem to work fine. Price is much better on the Seb, though.

I have two twisted gators. I've shot off of Mike's twisted SEB. I like the looks of the gator better, but, overall, like the SEB. The back end of the gator angles down too much for me, especially when you shoot downhill.
