ok I understand that as a general rule a certain twist rate will spin a certain weight bullet better then others. Kind of like a sweet spot I guess you could say. But how can I find out what the recommended weights are for a specific caliber with a specific twist. I know there are no real hard and fast rules but there are generalities when it comes to this topic.
Where can I find out what the "best" or recommended bullet weights are for my calibers and twist rates? There has got to be a chart somewhere. Can someone point me towards a chart like that please?
I can also give you the examples of my 3 main hunting rifles for recommendations. I have -
AR-15 in 223 with a 1:9 twist
T/C 22-250 with a 1:12 twist
Rem700 in 308 with a 1:12 twist.
I do have good loads for each rifle but I would like to know what other weights my rifles would be likely to shoot well.
