Turrets for what?

Might be for a Weaver T36? Hard to tell with that plastic in the way.

Just looked at a Weaver T36 I have, mine have single row of serrations and yours have 2 so still no definitive answer.

I have no idea, as they were on the scope when I bought it, used. The scope has no covers for the turrets, as they are bigger in diameter at the top, then at the base. So I believe they are an add on. I don't know if Nikon offered them, or someone else.

I have owned a few Nikon Buckmaster scopes and I believe the 6-18 model came with a set of those in the box.

They are aftermarket turret caps to, in my case fit an old 12x leupold before leupold offered such a thing. Can't put my hands on them now, having moved four years ago, you know how that goes. I thought they sounded like a good idea but the markings on the turrets were very coarse in actual use, never really used them in the field.

I have the exact same turrets on my old Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5-20X44. Mine are original, not aftermarket.
