is there a contact for Jeff pattersonI haven't personally, but Tony Harper has real world experience with the modifications. He posts here occasionally, and I am pretty sure if he sees your thread title, he will chime in.
I have a V3 that was purchased before the mods came out and have no complaints about the bolt lift, but that action was smoothed out by Jeff Paterson when he did the build.

I have a V3 that Tony Harper built. He added the bolt modification that is now standard on the newer V3's.Had anyone done the conversion on the v3 turbo. If so did it help with the bolt lift. Thanks

You might do a search; he had a couple threads about this work a couple of years ago.
I have no complaints/issues with the bolt lift.

prowler, Don is correct and I did the search, but it's on Benchrest Central. March of 2023 he opened a thread on that board about the (then) new modification kit from DiOrio. I will send Jeff's contact info via PM, assuming you haven't got already.I have a V3 that Tony Harper built. He added the bolt modification that is now standard on the newer V3's.

I agree Do you have Patterson phone number. The above tells a good story about 3-lug actions. I have had two Stiller Tridents, and the one Turbo V3. If I could go back in time I would have bought a V1 instead of the V3. I still would have had Patterson do the build though. There is no performance advantage to the 3-lug actions.
