tuning a cz

My 452 silhouette has a screw up front that goes into a removable lug under the barrel, should I take it out or mess with in-lbs? Also I would like to get a little better glass for it, I have a leupold VX2 4-12 with a duplex and wasn't wanting to buy a bigger leupold for it but a guy brought up the weaver T 24 or T 36 with a dot, what are these two scopes going for and are they worth putting on?..Thanks

Bed the lug, and action. I'm guessing it's in a plastic stock.
As for the scope, need one that will get you parallax right. The Weavers will go down that far, but only the EFR scopes and bench rest scopes from Leupold will get the job done. I have a EFR 6.5x20 Leupold on mine.

Thanks,
I have a EFR 6.5-20 × 40 MM AO with target turrets and a dot but like a dummy I sold it.
