I have been a good boy and calculated Mr. Purdy's prescription twice. It is going to be cold tomorrow, but rifle and tuner all set up for the appropriate physical length. I know it will not be windless, but I NEED to go out and try it anyway.

Please post your results...The whole principle is way over my head but I used it on my 22rf BR rifle and was AMAZED at the results.

I have a HB 52D, and want to run scopes and iron sights. The tuners by Harrells need about 1 inch of barrel. Can I set the front sight block an inch plus back and still be ok? Or do I need to remove the tuner when I shoot iron sights?

Hi All

Dickn52: Here soon I am going to test a bloop tube extension on the Harrrels tuner that will tune my rifle for the equivalent of a J&J short slide. This will add about 6" to the overall length and have about a .75" OD.

If it works like it should the rifle will be in tune and provide an additional 9 or so inches of sight radius over original.

I don't shoot iron sights, but I can see where having a longer sight radius would be beneficial.

Can't post anything yet since it was windy both times I went out to shoot.

Mike Ezell Tuner is the way I went on my 1907 and it is super accurate now. My best three shot group with Eley Match is .002. It looks like I only shot once. I couldn't believe it and I shot it.
