Tulsa gun show

My son and I were fortunate enough to go one time a number of years ago, best gun show I've ever been to, at that time it was sponsored by the Browning collectors association, 10 acres under one roof.
Yeah I saw a figure once in order to see it all in 2 days you have spend like 11 seconds a table. If you can't find it there it usually don't exist

Its worth driving the 740 miles. There can be deals found there. Lots of $$$$$ stuff, but you just never know.

Do you actually find good deals there or is it a larger version of every other gun show?
The deals are "OK," but the quality of the show is excellent, reminds me of the shows I would go to some from 40 plus years ago. I guess it would be more of a collectors show

I live in Tulsa. I admit, I don't get the fascination with the show. But then the Wannamaker of old is not the current one. They used to be pretty incredible.

Mr. Wannamaker used to have very strict rules as to who he allowed. I've met him, truly a collector of cool firearms. The show now? Much more relaxed.

Maybe I'm just old now.

The Dayton Ohio gun show back in the 1990s was MUCH better (if a man wanted to buy and sell guns). Of course, all gun shows today really don't have much to sell by comparison.

i go twice each year and have for years too many to count. not like it used to be for sure.... but it is still the best around and if you are looking for something specific you will likely be able to find it. bargains are not easy to find these days unless you really know what you are looking for and know the value of what you are looking at. however it is a really good show - but the crowds can be fierce at times!!!! plus you can renew your NRA membership and get in free LOL!!!!

It all depends on what you are after. New factory guns you could buy cheaper from home. Old classics and military you can wheel and deal. Excellent deals on reloading supplies was always my biggest reason to go. Not so much anymore.

Its twice a year and I go and renew my NRA membership every spring show. That gets you in free.

Do you like funnel cakes or shitty nachos?
