Tube gun scope height

Hey I got a question. I'm measuring my scope height for ballistic software and I'm getting 2.8" Normally its a lot lower than that but that's what I keep coming up with. Is anyone else running a tube gun know what their scope height is - center bore to center of scope. I figured it would be higher because the rings do not mount to the receiver but just want to make sure.

2.8 is the number I use, works fine

When I used the high rings it was 2.8, now that I use the extra high rings its 3.5.
