Bushing the bolt face is the easy part. Getting an extractor to work is going to be the problem. If that works, then to find magazines.

Walt,It already has a Sako setup for 308. I don't think it has the reach to get to the 223 rim. The bolt may be too small in diameter for a mini M16. I know someone who has one, let me reach out to him.
Appreciate the thought but we have quite the collection of T2K rifles and just want to explore the 223 possibilities. It might be more cost effective and certainly possible to sell the T2K and get an Eliseo tube gun for a REM 700 pattern where you could switch bolts and barrels back and forth. I dumped a T2K for an Eliseo R1 and don’t regret it.
T2Ks don’t have separate bolt heads.Doesn’t tubb sell a 223 bolt head for those?
Is the t2k the same as the tubb gun?T2Ks don’t have separate bolt heads.
Got itCompletely different bolt. T2K is a 2 lug with a Sako extractor. Tubbgun is a 3 lug with a sliding plate extractor.
