TUBAL 3000

got 8# at a very good price and plan on trying in a 14 tw 6 BR with light bullets...LT 32 is fantastic but only have 2#left and i always like to have a back up. burn rate seems to be right...n133 or ?slightly faster. i think it was once a 6 PPC favorite but being long extruded it's metering was a problem and n133 metered better as did the original T 32 and the current LT 32. i'm starting low and will do mvs before loading a lot. appreciate any first hand experince.

I know manufacturer's burn rate charts can vary quite a bit. The ADI chart shows Tubal 3000 slower than N133 and closer to N135. That said, I have found N135 to be excellent in the 6BR with lighter bullets, e.g. 68 grains.

I know Sierra ballistic technician Duane Siercks has a Vectan/Tubal reloading manual. 1-800-223-8799

Maybe a starting point, attached link has some info on Tubal 3000 in 6PPC with 68 grain bullets. http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?74791-Tubal-3000-for-6-BR
