My field target club has air rifle silhouette that we set up as an option aside from the field target course. Many shooters are rather spent from the field target but a few of us enjoy the silhouettes a lot.
Ours make a super satisfying smack when hit, even with a sub 20 ft-lb gun.

Turned out pretty well, given the parameters we have to worth within.

They look like rim fire targets as far as the weight/ thickness of them. How far are you shooting them?. I have run a benchrest paper version for Springers only for a couple years at 20 meters. Planning on starting a steel version this summer using 20, 30, 40, 50 yards. Tons of fun, good luck. We shoot the 50ft small bore silhouette target reduced 20percent at 66ft.Good ammo less than .04 per shot.
