WANTED *Try One More Time* Primal Rights Comp Seater

Po' Man's Precision

09/30/24 Going to give this one more last ditch effort. Really cannot afford a new one but it's getting to where I have no choice. My hands nor wrist cannot take it anymore.

I know there is the Poormans PCPS used in conjunction with a basic press. But I really want the one Greg designed. Thanks for all suggestions, they did not go unnoticed.

Good morning, I'm looking for a gently used Primal Rights Competition Seater. Due to hand complications carpal tunnel and severe arthritis I can no longer use hand nor bench primers. Also bench primers are inconsistent at best. I'm wanting to break into benchrest shooting but on pretty tight budget. Cannot shoot PRS because I cannot shoot prone due to back and neck problems, same as F-Class. So Benchrest is my only option. But small groups are key and key to small groups as we all know is consistency and I know I will recieve that with CPS. Greg (which I watch oftern) has gotten everything down to a science. It would be dream to own something he has designed. Anyways enough of my whining. I would be interested in one if price is right.

So horrible that this world is full of scammers now. Greg and Kristin took such good care of me and I can’t help but read his post and see similarities to my original message that illicited such a kind response from the Primal Rights team. God bless there are still great people in this world, too bad you sometimes need to sift through the scammers to find them.

Yes it is. But I guess I'm paying the piper for all the wrong I have done in my past. From 2010-2020 I was in very active addiction, sober now for alittle over 4 years, I have done alot of bad to very good people (mostly family, ones who care the most) so I'm paying for it in aces. They have all forgiven me but I haven't forgiven myself. Long Range shooting and reloading has helped me therapeutically very very much. I keep trying to one up myself and out preform myself, it helps me alot. Also one day when I think im good enough I want compete in Benchrest. Would like to do F-Class or PRS but I cannot shoot prone due to back and neck problems, I cannot get my head up the stock. Well I could go on and on but I don't want to put you to sleep lol. Maybe I'll find a CPS gently used one day. Take care, have wonderful day!

How about priming on your press? I have not tried it myself but some people speak highly of the precision primer seater from Ugly Reloading. Might be worth a look.

I did see that but I dont use regular O type press. I used a Forster Co-Ax. Plus at price point I'm pretty sure I can find a used one or not much more. A new one is like 300 some odd new. Plus I know Primal Rights is bees-knees. Thanks for suggestion though.

Darriel, my bad. I completely misunderstood your original post. I’m quite certain there are many people with hand/finger problems that could benefit from the CPS. I can totally sympathize with you back and neck problems too. I’ve had three back surgeries in the last 10 years and I had a C5-C6 neck fusion surgery about 8-9 years ago.

Sorry I misinterpreted your OP. I deleted it. If you get up to Michigan I’d be happy to take you to an F class event and show you a few tricks that have helped me compete with my back and neck issues. Good luck and I’m glad you are sober and found a passion for this great sport.

Yes I have the hand problems but was giving back story as to why I almost got taken by a scammer. I'm reaping what I sow.

I use the RCBS partner press with mine, total cost for everything was 307.00 works as good as the CPS unit, And yes I use both
I am just partial to Greg's design I'm sorry I should have just mentioned that when I created the post. Post has been up for few days now and havnt had a peep of one being for sale. I'll just save for more weeks a buy a new one I guess.
