Troubles with Forum on Phone??? Freezes

Hello

Just did not see any good place to post this. Any folks having issues with this forum and their phones?? I have a Samsung note, it has been working fine for years, phone and access to the site.

About 3 months ago, this forum will freeze my browser. I can navigate to the forums, but when I go to click on anything it will freeze the phone. Any folks having the same issue? Did you figure out a fix? This is the only site I have or had any issues with.

I have not experienced any issues like that on Android/Chrome, across two phones.

Have you tried a different browser on your phone? Firefox maybe?

Fire Fox cleared it up, hate to have a separate app just to run this forum, but if that's what it takes. I cleared out caches and cookies, no go still on my regular internet. I'll keep trying other stuff.

On the powder suggestion, that's funny,,,I checked all the screws too

My guess is that there is something installed/running/modified on the version of your phone's OS (Samsung bloatware maybe) that is causing the problem. Android is great and all, but every manufacturer puts their own bloat-ware on a phone and that kills any chance for a consistent experience.

Switch to Ubuntu (Linux distribution) and your problems will go away. That is if you can use it with your phone.

er, yeah. No linux distros on phones, that I am aware of. (unless you count Android itself, which is kinda-sorta based on Linux)
