Trouble Sleeping!!!

Well we have our first mid-range match at River Bend Gun today at 0830. It will be 3 relays at 600 yards. This is a monthly match that I have shot in many, many, many times..

Still, I am so excited that I can't sleep. I am up at 03:00!!! It is nice to have something that you look so forward to that you can't sleep at 57 years old.

All of my buds will be there that I haven't seen in a couple of months due to the fact that we take the month of January off..

We are going to have a hell of a good time today.

If you guys are ever in North Georgia please come shoot out 600 x 3. rbgc.org

Rod,

You have a great site!!!

We had a very poor turnout for our 600 X 3 Sunday due to very bad weather on Saturday. We had 45 shooters for the XTC on Saturday. It was cold and windy.. Sunday we only had 10 people return, so we just shot two practice relays..not for record.

I shot very well, shooting my Speedy Gun, BAT 8.5, 6.5 x 284, almost 1100 rounds on Broughton 8 twist.. It's about to go.

Rod, you shoot varmints???

Chuck,

THANKS :D

Too bad about the weather, but it's trigger time and even cold cruddy weather shooting is better than TV ;)

I haven't shot any varmints for a few years, probably 25 of them in fact. Bummer, because I miss it. When I was military we went out pretty much every weekend, either for prairie dogs,Rem 700 .22-250) or jackrabbits/cottontails,Winchester pump). When I left the Springs in 2004 most of the Pdawgs along the front range had been killed off by the plague or poisoning by the DOW for at least the prior 10 years. A shame. -Rod-
