Trinidad Gunsmithing School

Anyone been through the gunsmithing program at Trinidad and care to speak of your experiences?
How was the classes? How is the town? Have any luck making money after?
PM me if you would prefer.

I went to the Colorado school of trades in lakewood. If i had it to do again, i would go to a community college for tool and die making.(machine tool) Learn cnc machining and you will be ahead!

yep went threw 03-05 and i'm really happy with what i got out of it. as for the town well it's a weird one but not to bad once you learn your way around. after college we had job offers from $12-18+ if you were willing to go where the work was. I wasnt so i moved back home and spent four years working as a machinist. if you have any other questions feel free to give me a call.

Similar experience attending Pine Technical college in MN. Little work out there, when you could find it, wages were horribly low. If I were to do it all over again I would strongly consider a tool and die program. I've done better than many of my classmates, as I ended up working for an ammunition manufacturing plant and my background has been a big plus.

Thanks for the input guys.
Jake, I will take you up on that phone call. I will be out for a couple of days but will call at the end of the week.
