Trimming and Pointing 183gr SMK

Is it worth the time and effort for 1000 yard shooting?

Those that do and have success, what trimmer and pointing trimmers and dies do you use?

The 183's come from Sierra already pointed. AND the points are as near perfectly done as I have ever seen bullets pointed.

I trim and re-point mine to make them all the same length. If you measure a hand full of them, you will see a variance of .003-.007. Then take the outlying bullets and weight them. Because of they are a looong swoopy bullets, this variance inevitable. Trimming make them all equal and re-pointing bring back the BC. Tedious work, yes but it works for me.
