Triggertech diamond for rem700 clones only?

Anyone know why they are recommended for rem 700 clones only?

There is not a bolt release built into the trigger.

TT support said the 'clones' held tighter tolerances; the Rem 700 Diamond would be hit or miss with factory remingtons. When I said it would take my chances, he fairly strongly recommended me to not - saying it could be unsafe.

I have a jewell br, no bolt release in my rem 700
works great
if I need to get the bolt out just press down on the bolt release from the top with a slim object.

As others have said, it'll work, but you won't have a bolt release so be mindful of how you handle the rifle.

I actually broke a TT diamond that was installed in an R700. The rifle was babied, and I always wondered if it being installed on a factory action had anything to do with it.

Mine works great on a BR 300 win mag. Have a side mount bolt release.

They cant guarantee remington’s tolerances and if its off a bit one way it could be dangerous. They just cant take that risk

My gunsmith has installed Trigger Tech Primary on my last 2 rifles. I couldn't be happier. For this old dude...They break just as clean as my Jewell triggers.

Just buy a Jewell and don't look back. Less money than a TT Diamond.

The TT's I've used [Diamond Rem 700] have a crisper break than my Jewel.
Jewel is great, but for a single stage, the TT feels better to me.
