Triggers for Remington 700 / XP-100

I gota question here guys. Before I order a trigger that won't work I need to know if triggers made to fit the Remington 700 will also fit the XP-100 / XR-100 action?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The basic trigger configuration for the 700, 7, 40X, XR100 and XP100R is the same. Variations are in the bolt release and safety parts.

Vendors such as Tinney and Rifle Basic sell basic trigger units and you must transfer the bolt release and safety parts from the factory trigger to the replacement before installing.

Jewell makes specific complete trigger assemblies for some of the variants, XR100 for example, but these have to be special ordered direct from Jewell.

Check with your preferred vendor for availability and/or adaptability to the specific model needed.

Thanks FredBohl, I've been doing some internet looking but still wasn't sure. The XR-100 has a Rem 40X trigger on it and it's not bad but it will not adjust below 2 lbs and catch reliably. My XR-100 22-250 is in the process of becoming a 6BR and I know I'm gona want a 8-12 oz trigger on it.

If your goal is to achieve an 8-12 oz pull force and still have “safe handling with the safety off” on your XR100 action, I can only recommend a Jewell Trigger with confidence based actual experience with two such conversions.

Jewell does make a specific trigger for the XR100/XP100 and the model 7. The body of the trigger appears to be the same as used for the 700 or 40X, but the bolt release is an obvious departure from the standard HVR. I have these in stock.
