Trigger tuning

Hi
Got a browning Maral straight pull with a very heavy trigger , What would be an acceptable pull weight for a straight pull of this type (works like a semi auto BAR but without the gas tubes so I'm a bit wary of slam fires if that makes sense ) it breaks clean just the pull is to heavy
