Trigger for a PRS Rifle

I've made some changes to my match rifle set-ups and this has led to an action and stock I can use for a PRS build. I have a mag fed tube gun stock and a Rem 700 action.

The build will need a trigger. Most of my triggers are two stage but for "action shooting" I prefer a single stage. For this application I might like to have a safety as well. The existing tube gun stock makes most safeties problematic. The Huber concepts trigger has a safety that extends into the trigger well, nice feature for my parts.

So, anybody know of a good trigger that would work for my build???

Jewel also makes a safety inside trigger guard trigger. Brian.

The Bix n Andy Tac Sport is a really nice trigger. Has a safety and goes from 8oz on up.

Look at Xtreme shooting CG trigger, it's a drop in for a R700. I own 5 of Tom's triggers in my Tactical R700 and FTR rifle and 338. They absolutely one of the most reliable and bullet proof on the market.

The CG is a two stage and Mike said he's looking for a single stage. The gold standard is a bix n andy, but it is pricey. I'd look at the Timney's: good triggers and a local company Mike.

I'm not seeing much with a bottom safety. Jewel and Huber and Bix. The latter two are pricey and ridiculous. I have 3 CG's on my target tube style match guns all with no safety. XTreme and Gieseele are coming out with singles and Tom may do a bottom safety due to shooting Highpower match guns.

It just seems that a field gun should have a safety.

What little action rifle shooting I do pushed me to a single since I was just pulling through the first stage of a two stage anyway.

If I go the no safety option, the triggertech or Bix Tac Sport seem like a good ways to go.

Xtreme shooting products... Makes a single stage trigger and has for a few years now, I have two of them. I have a CG Xtreme match trigger in my Kelbley's FTR rifle that has over 5000 rounds, that has never been removed for cleaning nor for any type of repairs.
