Trail camera pics coming in yet?

I only got 2 pictures of the big buck I would love to take but I have a couple picts of another buck that broke his antler off while in velvet and a photo of him hard horned. Both survived my best efforts!

I'm sitting in the blind in the background. This Forky is dumber than dirt. Lucky for him I'm not looking for meat yet. Very soon it's gonna be "brown is down". This is the third time he's wandered in front of me.IM000022.JPG

I was able to harvest the deer in the above trail cam photos. After failing miserably during archery season(fully nocturnal), I had to wait 2 weeks for rifle to open. He made one or two morning appearances during that 2 weeks and then shut off again. I scouted for him a few days before season and couldn’t get eyes on him. Opening day, the morning didn’t produce so I got back out at 2 pm with a friend and after sitting about 15 minutes he said man…. You’re not gonna believe this but he’s laying down right in front of us. We got him to his feet and got him down with a Berger 88 from the 6 GT hunting rifle. A few hours later my buddy got an old 7 point that was broken down for me, also with a GT. It’s becoming my favorite round for small to medium game.
