towanda (north central pa) 300 yard bench/prone match july 2nd

Towanda rifle and pistol club range this Saturday.
bench rest 300 yards or prone w/ bipod. prone is not shooting against bench and visa versa.
not strict f/tr any caliber 308 and under is allowed on the ground
no muzzle breaks
2 relays of 2 targets w/ 10 rounds each unlimited sighters. 30 minutes per relay.
starts at 9am
range is 3 miles up bridge street out of Towanda pa on the right.
benches are covered ground is not so you can bring a shade tent and shooting mat

Do you have a schedule of matches, and if so what are your other dates. How many bench shooter do you usually have?

howdy jeff, first Saturday of the month is 300 yard bench and prone.
usually like 10 or 12 on the bench and maybe similar on the ground.
the last SUNDAY of each month is 500 yard benchrest. up until September or whenever the weather doesn't cooperate.
last week we had 14 shooters at 500 yards.
there is steel next to the targets for sighters in case you cant make out your bullets on paper.
these aren't my matches the fellow that runs them is TONY L he posts them at snipers hide but is not a member here.
