Torque Specifications

I am looking for a range of torque specifications to experiment with for an action bedded with Devcon and aluminum pillars on a laminated wood stock (Boyds). I have two Winchester Model 70's, one is a 300 WSM and one is a 270 WSM. Also have a Remington 700 in 204 Ruger. Any sugestions?
Thanks,
Scott

Here is an article doing something similar for Savage 2 and 3 screw actions.

FWIW,

Suggestions for Remington actions with aluminum action bedding block??

I lock my Remingtons down to 45 to 50#'s if the stock is bedded to the action, not just a factory bedding block..

You bet, I'm to old and scrawny to torque anything to 45 to 50 #'s

Hey, it's easy if you just slip a piece of pipe over the end of the wrench 8) More torque, longer pipe.
