Took the 260 out of the safe recently

I built a 260 a while back and havent shot it much until recently. Components are as follows.
1.Stiller Predator action
2.Kreiger 8.5' twist Sendero profile barrel
3.HS Precision Fully adjustable long range stock
4.Baushe & Lomb 6-24 scope
I bought some Reloader 17 and tried it in the 260 and it shot great with 39.6 grains and Hornady 140 grain A-Max moly bullets and CCI BR 2 primers. My best group was a .102' and my worst group was .640'. I dont consider that too bad

Gday rifleman, that sounds good to me, do you have a picture. I have been contemplating a .260 Rem for some time now. Might just have to do it one day.

Sounds like you have a great rifle! I also shoot a 260 in mid-long range competition. Mainly I shoot H-4831sc powder pushing either Berger 140 VLD's or 142 SMK's. Both work great at 1K
