Too simple

kids grow up these days surrounded by violence. movies and violent video game. they have killed millions by the time they are 18. it desensitizes them to killing.

i grew up with Andy of Mayberry and Bonanza. Started hunting with my father at 8 or 9 years old. Trained what a shotgun would do. Saw what the finality of death looked like. No replays there.

it is a Society problem. the video games, the life experiences, the way we handle the mentally ill. Not sure there is an answer but getting rid of the guns is just an easy scapegoat to redirect the attention away from the real problems.
Agree 100%. Back when I went to school, it was common to see guns hanging in the back window of pickups during small game and deer seasons. The guns were for hunting - NOT FOR KILLING PEOPLE.

all of my friends and i had shotguns and rifles in our trucks at school. no one thought anything about it. i can't remember how many times my father came by school when i was i junior high to get me out of school for.a dove shoot. many times we hit the woods straight from school.

back then we settled disagreements with our fist.

Skipped school to rabbit hunt. My bus driver saw us walking home, picked me and buddy up in the school bus and dropped us off at home. That was 1980 in PA
