Tom Brady Explains Ballistics

Something I'd like to offer here regarding "Turnover"
Or a bullets nose following it's flight path
They mentioned that they expected the footballs nose to remain in the same orientation as when thrown (Stay Tilted Up)
Except through it's travel the nose followed the flight path and started to angle downward as it fell downward. "(Turned over)
-----------------------------------------
This is something we consider with Long range and barrel twist
Theoretically there is no such thing as overtwisting a bullet
But if you do provide too much twist, the bullets nose will stay pointed flat as it falls and not turn over.
Its not a big deal until you get past 1000 yards and is more something to consider when the bullet goes transonic.
And thats when the Center of Force will try to push the nose behind the center of mass
This causes bullet tumbling
-------------------------------------------
With the correct gyroscopic twist rate, the bullets nose will follow its flight path throughout its full length of travel all the way to the target even after going transonic

Yea right I used to run 162 A maxes and others so fast they would only occasionally` make it to the target. But you cannot over twist a solid copper bullet, and that is a fact.
