He is actually a Mountain Feist and is big for a feist. 20 inches to the top on his back and 32 lbs

His face, body shape and especially his eyes remind me so much of a Manchester Terrier and Rat Terrier mix that I had years ago. I couldn’t tell that he was that big in the picture.

Reminds me of Rex, the wonder mutt, I got for my birthday at 7. (50 years ago) He was no Feist. He turned out to be dad's dog. But what an entertaining, irritating little mutt he was. I can't imagine owning a pure bread like yours...with none of Rex' bad habits and all the good of a squirrel dog. You are blessed.

That is a damn cool dog. How do you hunt with him? Does chase them up the tree so you get a shot? Does he fetch back for you?

Mountain Feist are wonderful dogs for treeing squirrels. I enjoy every hunt with them.

That is a good sized MF! My neighbor has a 1/2 Feist 1/2 rat (another neighbor's dog met up with his 2 rat patrol dogs). I've got a pair of Jack Russel Terrors, both go crazy over the yard squirrels!
