Only day this week to hunt, partly sunny,80 degrees,i was hidden at 8am ,and never left a forty acre hayfield, bordered by a recently cut wheat field. From where i'm sitting to the field with the yellow straw is 475 yards, all my shots were in-between the 475 yards,176 yards ,to 255 yards all came out from the wooded hillside to feed. Two were shot in the middle of the green hayfield at 170 yards,at days end I saw 15 gh's 5 out of range for the 17 hornet, and dropped 10 drt, some big ones the further the shots the more damage was done? All gh's taken home and put on a pile to shoot coyotes over after I stake them down.
