To the michigan guys that gotta have it.

I get it. But if its a br sized case thats about 1700 rounds for a jug. The added 200 bucks when you consider the big picture is not much over a barrels life. Say you burn two barrels out a year. Will the extra 400 bucks that year hurt that much? Its bs but I deal with guys that want to stop what they love over principal more than reality.

It's about time for principles to be shown.

Thats cool. But this is nothing new. Been down this road before. I do not understand the surprise. Its going to happen again too. So next time powder and primers are on sale buy them. 3 years ago they were giving free hazmat. Remember this next go around. I also remember fuel this high. Same guy was in the white house. But sitting at home not enjoying your life wont change a thing. Its short, have fun.

$431 sucks when you think about what it cost a couple of years ago but with the way things have been going it doesnt sound that bad right now. I was in my lgs in Tulsa about a month ago and they had one 8#er of Varget and one 8#er of H4350 for $499 apiece. Did not buy because I dont really use them. Had it been powder I use for pet loads I might have. Thankfully I have opportunities to workovertime here and there and I use that money for gun or fishing stuff. I do have a nice stockpile of components (nothing compared to what some of you guys have). Who I feel bad for is the young up and comers who never had the chance at lower prices.

I couldn't agree more about the the young guys getting started in any of the shooting sports. I am lucky and have stockpiled enough of everything getting ready to retire that I probably don't have to buy any large amount of supplies for the rest of my life with the possible exception of Magnum Shot as i love to break some clays also.

I haven't bought any shot in several years. I shot a little sporting clays a few years ago during the winter just to stay busy. I still have a few bags stashed.

A local sporting goods store. It was started in the early 70's in a garage by a man named Jay Poet.
My father and I spent many hours looking at guns in the old store.
