To much shoulder bump

Ok, I screwed up. I bumped the shoulders WAY to much on my 6.5-284 brass and now the headspace is out. I want to make a false shoulder with a .284" expander button and fire form them back to chamber dimension. Could someone go through the procedure for this please?

Expand the entire neck then begin resizing them just until they just chamber with a slight crush fit, not that you need to hammer the bolt closed, just that you can feel a slight drag.
How far did you bump them?

I would pull the bullets before you get into a tight spot with your primer flow.
As said just expand the necks up, and then resize again until they will just show a tiny bit of resistance when you close the bolt. It will help lots if you take the fireing pin assembly out when you try them in the chamber, that way you won't feel the stricker loading up causing a false feel to closing the bolt.
