If any of you guys want to really shoot a great F-Class match you need to shoot this one.

This match attracts many the hard holders from all over the country.

With the Nationals being held in Kailfornia, which is too far to drive to and air fair is too expensive, this match is the next best thing to the Nats.

Motels are cheap and the hospitality from the Tennessee boys is second to none.

am I reading the targets correctly?
You will be using a reduced 1000 yd target at 600 yds unless the 1000 yd targets come in on time?

the targets are the MR-1 target that are normally used in highpower matches at 600 yards, the X= 6", the 10= 12" and I believe the 9= 18"

What is the holdup on the new targets anyway, I does't seem that hard to cut a plate and turn a press on...

Depending on how many targets you guys need I may be able to purchase some from ORSA club to be used.

I may be wrong, but I think Chuck is refering to the long delivery time of the new "official" f-class targets that have been in the works a few months

I just got off the phone with National Target. We have a delivery date of "not later then" Sept 1st on 200 LR-FC target centers, so we SHOULD have the official target centers for the TN State F Class Championship.

Also, National target has had the sense to make the repair centers ONE PIECE! That is great news, and if you have ever used two piece LR repair centers, you know what I mean. A BIG thanks to National Target for being the first,that I know of) to be shipping these and making them correctly,one pice)!!

I ordered Two 8" trophies and 12 plaques yesterday. We shoud be cooking with hot grease! Now, all we need is for mother nature to cooperate :idea:

it wouldn't be the first time I shot in the rain in Tenn. I am looking forward to the match and hopefully not letting Cochran take that trophey back to Texas again

The official NRA .5moa targets are in! They got a little use last Sunday.

Regretably, I won't be able to shoot at all for at least another 3 weeks. Maybe as many as 16 more weeks, depending on my Docs recommendation.

I'll be out to help run the line this weekend though. I've put too much work into this match to let a little back surgery stop me from going!

So,, Chuck is going to give you a run for your money huh? Maybe the 7+ month wait was worth it
