TN F Class Championship, 8-30/31-08

Looks like the last bit of hurricane Fay will be gone well before the match. They are forcasting mid 80's with only a 20* chance of rain. Doesn't get any better then that in August, in the south.

Chris

I may make it down for Sunday only, Ill be shooting off the sling if anybody else shows up to do the same. Sounds like Some Paid road guards have been laid on.

Any word on How many sling shooters??

Russ,

I'm not sure on the sling shooters. I think we have one coming up form LA.,not lower alabama!), but Matt is helping me run it, and Dean won't be shooting. It's possible you coudl come out Sunday only and bring home the trophy :)

For everyone else:

Just a reminder, Day 1 of the TN LR-F Class championship starts tomorrow. Registration starts at 8AM CDT and ends at 9AM.

Chris, Thanks to you and all the guys helping you put on another great Championship Match. Everything ran smoothly and the fishtail winds you provided made for some of the most entertaining shooting I have ever tried.
Great event. Thanks for all the work in hosting these matches.

Best regards

Larry,
to bad Chuck had to work and miss all the fun in the sun huh? I thought I was going to melt Sat.

Chris,
as always, great match.

Thanks guys. I'll get the write up out in a day or so. Until then, here's the overall Agg. This spreadsheet exluded the Alabama shooters, as I'm not sure how Steve wants them listed, etc.

Congradulations Jeff. That was some outstanding shooting.

Chris

Thanks again for a great run match. The extra help on the line and pits really showed in how the matches ran. You even looked a little less stressed out than ussual! It was good to see John M and John H again along with the Parkers. A couple more Joint ventures such as this one with Alabama might be the way to go. looked like it worked out real well. Also the trophies that were givin out were top notch, nice touch Chris. I noticed a couple of Door prizes from Sportman's Whearhouse. Also a nice touch.

Every time I go down that direction its hard to drive back, I would just like to stay in that area. People are nice the country side is amazing and gas is free if you look hard enough. Weather was perfect.

Thanks again Sir

Jeff, great shooting under difficult conditions. Glad you come down and shoot with us.

Told Chuck you asked about him. Next time I'll make sure he has his priorities in order.

See you soon on the line.

I don't know how Chris will write it up, but Jeff Traylor really put on a clinic about shooting in some really serious incoming fish-tailing winds on Sunday. Wind was coming in from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock with periods of wind pushing flag straight out from 9 o'clock. As the winds bounced off the 600 yard berm at the various angles the shooting got very, very interesting.

Congrats to Jeff, my shooting partner. You done good, buddy!

And thanks to Chris for conducting another great match. Chris could make a good living going around the country and being match director for the big shoots.
