Tisas 9mm

Picked up a Tisas 9mm commander sized 1911. Overall it's good value for what you get and quality seems very good. A couple of minor things about it but I can say the same about my stock Ruger 1911.

Someday it get it out to the range and see if it lives up to expectations.

My cousin just bought the Tisas .45 and 10mm.
We ran a box through each at thanksgiving and they were good shooters.
Triggers were heavy but smooth not gritty.
Overall good deal.

I couldn't resist either, I got a 1911 government in 45ACP. I have not shot it yet, but plan to soon. I looked at them 2 years ago and should have bought one then. They had a stainless government model that was only $50 more than the one I got, but hey sold out quick. I have read a bunch of reviews and have not read a negative word about one of them.

A friend bought the 4.25" 9mm earlier this year. It has the upgraded sights, beavertail, etc. and runs like a top. A lot of gun for $350

Someone on this forum or one of the others I visit said that with CNC machinery the difference between a $1000 1911 and a $350 1911 almost nothing.

I've ran my tisas stingray 9mm for a while now. Over 500 rounds and no malfunctions of any kind. It's accurate and well made. I rotate it into my daily carries and no hesitations with it.
