tipton rods/ no customer service

i purchased a tipton 22 cal 36 inch rod last oct. and was cleaning my new savage 22-250 pred model the other day and i guess as i pushed my jag through the barrel it came loose and the brass insert on the rod broke and folded back maring my brrel from about half way down to the crown which isnt no big deal nothing a little jb didnt work out, but i got on there web sight and looked for a number, and the only way to contact them is by email. so i have. in the past 2 weeks i have sent 5 different emails and there web sight has confirmed they have got them, but i am still waiting on a response. has anyone else had this probleme with them? or with the rods?

I have had problems with a new Tipton rod. It was purchased through Midway and as such I went back through Midway for replacement. The issue was handled over the phone and resolved promptly.

I broke the tip off a .17 cal Tipton rod the second time it was used. I shipped it back to Tipton and received a replacement in a couple of weeks. No questions asked. Vic

Is this another one of the famous carbon fiber rods?

yes it is one of there carbon fiber jobs. still havnt had any replies from them. oh well boght a dewey and i am pleased with it. so i will stick with it. thanks for the input fellas.

Dewey are very good rods, as are the Bore Tech's. B.T. handles spin up like an airplane prop at takeoff, and just keep on going, like the Energizer Bunny. Also prefer the slimmer handle to clear high comb stocks. Both high quality, as are many others, I'm sure.
