As an FFl holder/dealer I have an account with Zabders wholesale company. Zanders carries Timney triggers they also have the rem 700 BR triggers model .
I have seen a lot of triggers come through my rifle shop but I haven't seen the Timney BR triggers. I can buy one of these triggers for 200$ Anyone here have any first hand experience with these triggers? The price of triggers these days are not cheap and Timney is a solid brand I think, so I am curious.

I have 2 of the Timney 501/500T
These are no longer made - GREAT triggers
a 3 lever design like the early Rem 40x 2 oz Hart made trigger
-----------
Timney's newer designed triggers, such as the "Elite Hunter" have changed, to certain features I do not like
One feature being, the top sear only extends/covers half of the internals of the trigger
Makes no sense to me to do this, as it allows debris to get into the trigger
I was testing a Friends Custom 308 Bolt gun and had the trigger completely stop working
Had to disassemble trigger at home and found what looked like a tiny piece of sawdust
it Completely stopped the trigger from cocking and holding a set
Dead in the water
-----------
So if anything, check to at least see if the top sear covers the entire length of the internals of the trigger
Such as the Walker type top sear does
-----------
I don't know every model of Timney, but do know I like their Old Design of triggers
Nowadays - I prefer a Jard to a Timney (for a similar priced trigger)

I have one on my 6BR, with a straight trigger bar- I like it and would get another - but it ain't no Jewel or Triggertech! Mine came as "new-old stock" for about US$100.

This is the trigger I’m speaking about at Zander’s
Wow, thats a nice price
From the pic (looking through the sear engagement window)
It looks like the top sear covers the internals
BTW this is the "Tactical" trigger I was speaking of
Very nice trigger and fits Rem 600/660 also which is kinda nice if you own one of those
