Tikka T3x varmint ?

They don't make one in 6.5CM, you'd have to have it built. But Tikka does make a few in .260:

the CTR has a heavier 20" threaded barrel, pic rail and 10 rd TRG mag for around $1000 (I kinda want one myself). There's a thread over at Snipershide and on 24hourcampfire on them..

I think you can get a hunter model with wood stock in 260

I haven't seen a T3 lite available here in 260, but maybe they are out there. I have been told by a dealer they don't import the varmint model in 260 to US any more.

The Tikka T3x Varmint is most certainly chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

It recoils harder than it seems it should. Not a really heavy gun. But it’s manageable.

I believe the OP has a 223 in the Varmint.

It’d be a great way to have a practice gun and a bigger caliber rifle all in the same configuration.

I do have one in 223 and love it. I am thinking I would enjoy one in 6.5 creedmoor also. I believe the recoil pad and be taken off and weight added in the stock. That would balance the rifle and help reduce recoil.

I have had the pad off on these,it was solid in there if I remember correctly...maybe foam?...whatever it is I am sure it can be drilled out with caution . I had the CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor,it was snappy for the caliber . Not a fan of those stocks with anything more than .223 .
