Tikka T3x for 221FB

Has anyone ever built anything off of the 221FB case in a Tikka T3x?

I'm a Rem 700 guy and I don't know a whole lot about Tikka's but I know the little 221FB case can be a bit finicky with regard to feeding and ejecting and was curious if anyone has built anything based on the 221FB case in a Tikka and if so how did it feed through the Tikka magazine and was there any issues with extraction or ejecting.

They have a sako extractor and with a 223 center feed mag box I dont see why not.

I don’t like the small t3 port in the action, and it’s far from short. I would be skeptical of it ejecting the short case without seeing it myself

Why would it not eject a short case?
The big fat 300wsm eject fine.

I suppose I could do another 20-222 or even a 20P but I bought a whole bunch of Lapua 221FB brass a few months ago that keeps staring at me every time I walk in my reloading room and I wouldn't mind having a 20-221.

I have a 20 VarTarg I built on a Tikka T3X 223 CTR. Same case as the 221Fireball. Uses a KRG bravo Stock and hybrid magazines built using a CZ527 fireball magazine inside a shell built to the dimensions of a Tikka CTR magazine. If I run the bolt normally or briskly it feeds fine. If I run the bolt slowly it will occasionally misfeed. Ejects perfectly. Very accurate barrel from Preferred Barrel Blanks. Highly recommended.

I have another Tikka 223 that has a 223AI barrel and a 300BLK barrel. Feeds just fine from factory CTR 223 mags and MDT 223 mags.
