I very much enjoyed building this rifle and shooting it and I've reached a place where I can't keep space in the rotation for it. It's a top-notch 13.8lb bench varminter perfect for prairie dogs, groundhogs, and more. Or just range time without excessive recoil or consumable costs.
It has no flaws to speak of. All action was shot on a covered range, no time in the field. Shoots 52gr FB bullets with outstanding accuracy from the magazine or single-shot fed.
- Chambered by Bob Green using his benchrest .222 Rem min-SAAMI spec reamer with .250 neck. (That's a skim turn with Lapua brass)
- Bartlein LV profile barrel, 23.6" long, 1:12 twist. 604 rounds total, lands are still sharp. Muzzle is threaded 5/8-24tpi and has a Yankee Hill thread protector that fits nicely.
- 10-round MDT magazine with polymer feed lips. Feeds 10 rounds with perfect reliability.
- Includes 25pc of skim-turned and once-fired Lapua brass and 50pc of virgin Lapua brass.
- Manners PRS1TK stock in Elite Tactical grey web (95% bare carbon fiber) with MCS-DBMK mini-chassis upgrade and limbsaver pad. 1.25 straight profile barrel channel. Two non-rotating flush cup sockets on the left side.
- Vortex Viper PST PST-624S1-A scope in perfect condition mounted in Burris Signature rings. Zero ring marks of course. If you want the scope box I will need to add some money for shipping, otherwise you'll get the shade, bikini covers, lens wipe, and manual.
- Midway extra heavy padded case
- Bobsled single shot adapter
- The foreend is drilled for an Atlas bipod rail and if I can locate that rail you will receive it also.
Price is $1600 ready to go, or $1350 without the scope. Shipping is $75 to the lower states from me to your chosen FFL where that is legal. Not considering other shipped arrangements. Being a bit of a custom build, the price is set to move. Payment by personal check with time to clear or USPS Money Orders. I will exercise my rights as a seller to proceed as it makes sense for me and I will communicate my intentions clearly. Located in Hershey PA and I do prefer a local sale.
If you want the 50pcs of virgin brass neck turned also, I can include that.
Additionally, I have a Wilson inline seating die, 1100 52gr hand-pulled FB bullets that it loves, PMA .224 neck turner, a Redding bushing FL sizing die, and several Redding TiNi bushings that will be available to the buyer for a very attractive price. These items may be available separately after the rifle has a buyer.
