Are the tikka wsm and standard magnum magazines interchangeable? Are the magazine well in these rifles the same size? I know the 308win mags click right in to my .223rem. I want to build a 7saum on a tikka action and want to know what doner rifle to purchase. Any magnum action or will it have to be a wsm rifle? Am I correct in assuming that Tikka uses the same length action for all cartriges?

Hi, pretty sure the T3 actions are the same length, I think the main difference with mags is the length of the follower and a plastic block in the rear of the mag (to set the overall length of the cartridge the rifle is for). There may also be a difference with where the bolt stop is positioned too, depending on cal. I can't remember if the ejection port is different sizes on the different cal. either.

Tikka only do a long action. The only difference is the magazines.If your planning on doing this you may have to take a bit of the bolt stop to allow the bolt back a little to catch the round. You also must consider the bolt face diameter and extractor.
