Tikka T3 Trigger

Does anyone know of any available aftermarket triggers for the T3? Besides the Bix'n Andy...I'm not ready to drop $460 on one just yet. I don't mind the factory trigger after adjusting it but that over travel is terrible.

Google shows that Whidden Gunworks is now the US distributor for Barnard actions. It might be worth giving them a call.

I did some digging on the Barnard triggers and somewhere they do make one for the Tikka. The only review I found on them states that they do not have safeties.

I have 2 Tikka rifles. For factory rifles, the triggers are pretty dang good, in my opinion.

Whidden Gunworks is a great company. Call them and ask.

The trigger is fine in weight and crispness, it's just the over travel that's bothering me. I might be wrong but I wouldn't think any replacement springs would fix that issue. Did you guys notice a change in that area?

You could always glue a small piece on the trigger guard behind the trigger, file to get the over travel you want. Some plastic pistols are thks way now, just an extra tab on the trigger that you file to desired length rather than the guard.
