Tikka t1x

I've re barreled many of them, it's not a difficult job but to do it right there are some must have tools, the torx set screws that retain the barrel are in very tight with locking compound, a high quality torx bit (t15) must be used, grind it shorter or it will break off in the screw and it will be game over, heat each screw with a torch (use a small tip and dont over heat) then using an impact screwdriver remove the three screws, after that you'll need to press out the barrel, using an aluminum rod (turned to fit through the action and relieved to properly mate with the face of the breech) against the breech end of the barrel, do not pound the barrel out!

Why change the barrel? Add a tuner... literally shot these 20 min ago testing in my yard. 2 groups of 5 each. Lapua polar biathlon, Lapua polar biathlon extreme, norma match. And this is at 50 yds
