Tikka T1X, got me new scope rings, ended up with some really nice grouping

Since new I was running some cheap UTG rings, decided to finally upgrade that part, went yesterday to sight it in and came out with some really nice results.

Stick-ish T1X MTR 20", Sightron SII 36x42 in Vortex Precision Matched Rings, Phoenix Precision bipod, Protektor Model rear bag, shooting CCI SV at 50 yards. There were 162 rounds sent to that target, I was going home with a big smile on my face :D

thats a target anyone would be proud of, soild shooting

Nice, very nice.

My Tikka T1X is about 2 months old now and I am very pleased with it. I added a vertical pistol grip which significantly improved my ability to shoot the rifle better. All my shooting thus far has been off a bipod, on the bench with a rear bag rest.

So far, I've just used CCI Standard Velocity with a 15X Bushnell Elite scope. Some of my groups on 1" dots are similar to yours. I just ordered rimfire benchrest targets some members recommended so I can start scoring my performance more precisely.

Great rifle isn't it!

Very Good .
Try some SK standard if you can find any .

For competition I currently use Eley Tenex, I used to get very good results with SK Rifle Match as well but my rifle was far less pimped out bank then so I cannot compare the results. When I'm close to run out of Tenex I want to try some RWS R50 since everybody seems to get great results with them around here.

My rifle has about 8 months only. I got "pistol" grip, lighter spring, soft cheek pad and nice bolt handle. At this time I feel like it needs nothing (famous last words). It is indeed a great rifle!

Very nice!

My Dad is shooting SV CCI with simlar results.

Eley Tenex is the preferred ammo for his barrel for all out accuracy. Give it a try if you want to push it a little more.
