I had a new barrel nut to fit the 1x16tpi Tikka / Ruger American/ Ruger m77 / Winchester m70.
It is a hex nut that matches my other hex nuts and allows a full 1.07 barrel diameter at the nut flange like a Savage/Remage. So, now all nut barrels will look exactly the same, no more need to make barrels smaller at the tenon.
I am very happy about this.
Ps: I've had several customer builds recently on the Ruger American. Apparently, this action is quite good, and shoots very well when paired with my barrel.
