Can a Tikka replacement heavy barrel be bought direct from Tikka ? This is for a Tikka T3x in 223 cal.
Does anyone make a prefit barrel for it ?

Preferred barrels does. They make a nut barrel and a shoulder barrel for tikkas.

I have, in the past purchased a Tikka barrel from a smith who rebuilds them with carbon barrels. It needed little work to fit, despite there being a 30 year difference between rifles. I would suspect that a replacement from the factory would be more expensive than a US made custom barrel.

I make a nut prefit. People seem to like them.
