Tikka barrel wrench?

PBike- aka Paul Becincaul. My spelling of his last name may be off. Just do a search for PBike. He makes a very stout rear entry wrench. I use mine often.;)
Ifn ya just want to borrow one, send me a PM.;)

I appreciate the offer, but I would like to have one for myself..I sent Pbike a pm last week but haven’t heard back so I am wondering if there is anyone else that can make one for me.

Pbike is pretty dead set on not answering pms for whatever reason. You have to email him

Sorry for dragging this one up too, guys...just stumbled onto it.

I would be very careful with a rear entry action wrench for a T3. They are famous for being EXTREMELY tight. Josh, I'm glad yours is working for you.

I feel that this is the only way to pop a factory installed T3 action, without twisting something.Tikka Action Wrench-2.jpg

I’m going to ask a stupid question. I guess you use a hammer to get the action loose with that wrench ? How do you torque the barrel once reinstalled?

No, it's on a 2' handle, and has NO play. Get it on at a 90 degree (straight out)...load up some some pressure...and jump on it!!!LOL The idea is to give it everything you got, in one fell swoop. I don't take any prisoners with this thing!:D

And Dusty, I torque every action back onto the barrel with a rear entry wrench...to 100 foot pounds. A dab of copper anti seize on the threads, and they come off easy the next time.

I like to take barrels off at the end of the season, plug the end of the muzzle, and fill them up with cleaning solution for a day or two, before I scrub them up good. It also makes it easier to inspect with the bore scope.:)

BP1, Did you ever find one. I noticed the post is from August. If you haven't talk to Kalen G. he has a Tikka and most likely would know of a barrel wrench maker or he could make you one. After all he owes you a re-barrel from that freezer shoot. lol...
