Ok thanks guys I will be using it mostly for coyotesIf you want to see if a lever is for you but don't want to shell out the money without knowing first, try running a cable tie around the power ring ( or even the objective if that's what you need), pull it as tight as possible and cut the excess. If you like it, buy the lever you need. If you don't, cut it off and you aren't really out anything.
Measure it and then check Ebay. Lots of custom makers on there. Look for the one that best represents the design of your ring. Some have 'bumps' built into them and others just rely on tension to hold them. Might have to look at quite a number of them to find just the right one.I just got a new NF Competition 15-55x52mm BR scope and would like to get a throw lever for it. I've tried finding one but have had no luck. Can anyone that has one for this scope tell me where they are available? Thanks for your help.
How did we ever change magnification on our variable scopes without these? (Just fine, thanks, that's how...) I think this is one of the most overrated gizmos ever to come down the pike, and I remove them from my scopes if so equipped. But I have strong hands, and strong hands are the devil's workshop. Or something like that.Just wondering is a throw lever needed or just kind of nice to have ?
I think if you like them get one if you don’t well don’t get one then.I used to think throw levers were just another tacticool bolt-on bling. After trying one I’m totally sold.
I would recommend an OEM manufacturer’s throw lever. Some of the aftermarket ones are 3D printed and are pretty rough.
