Three tonight

Got out tonight to attempt to make up for last nights no-sightings! Got three, or should I say 2 1/2 as the one weren't no bigger than a Guinea Pig! One at each 111, 75 and 70 yards with less than ideal rests. 111 and 75 were standing monopod-ed from my shooting stick and the 70 was off my portable shooting bench but monopod-ed from the bi-pod as there was no room around my long range rig on the bench! All were with my T/C Contender 20" barreled .17 Ackley Hornet and the 20 gr.V-Max bullet. Sighting was handled by a 4.5-14X Zeiss. Saw another large one but it disappeared in the thick stuff as I was going prone for the shot. It's days are numbered! ;)

Well done, MrMajestic. And you beat me by one tonight. :D

I grew up NW of Pittsburgh, but I must admit I have never heard of Lititz. Can you give me a hint?

Nice going! You put a real hurtin on that second one. You got to have a proper rest to make the good, clean shots!

My wife grew up in Pitcairn! Lititz, actually I live in Brickerville ???, is 10 miles north of Lancaster. Lititz was originally an all Moravian community and was known for the healing power of the springs. General Sutter, of the gold rush fame, was attracted to them but obviously it didn't work as he is buried here! :o

And how does one pronounce Lititz? Le-tits, Liet-its, Lite-tzz? Inquirering minds want to know.
