Thread protector vs . Muzzle break

Does anyone have any experience shooting a thread protector during competitions but then also shoots a muzzle break during noncompetition type shooting on the same weapon? Does this change your accuracy nodes do you have to shoot a different load in the rifle? I was thinking of the concept of trying to mill a thread protector the same diameter length and weight as the muzzle brake. Would it also need the same balance point from the threaded end of the barrel? Would both ends have to be heavy and try to hollow out the center area to compensate for the missing weight (via holes) from the muzzle brake. Kind of the reverse concept of the Browning boss/boss CR minus the tune-ability.
Or am I way overthinking this just a plain old thread protector shoots just as good. It is on a 26" barrel 1.25" taper to .9xx"
Thanks

Yes I actually looked at their website the other day I did not see a direct replacement that could be swap out the tuner body for the muzzle brake body. Nor did i see one for sale with one tunning ring and both bodies. That's what give me the idea that this could be more complicated than simply putting on thread protector. I currently have two rifles with Browning BOSS system on them. I like the recoil reduction however I do the traditional load work up method, rather than just shooting one load and tuning the rifle to that load. I purcased one CR-boss, but have not played at all with it. I plan on shooting my rifle with the muzzle break on much as I can however the only place that I can practice at 600+ yards are F- class matches or F class practices.
I believe tuners do work. I just want to create a thread protector with the same "TUNE" as my muzzle brake if possible. Well almost anything is possible, if practical!

Regarding the RAD I was not sold on the two shot group tuning method. Custom barrels that shoot .1-.3 sure but, that is NOT what I usually shoot. I only have one after market barrel a accuracy capability is yet to be found
