Does anyone have any experience shooting a thread protector during competitions but then also shoots a muzzle break during noncompetition type shooting on the same weapon? Does this change your accuracy nodes do you have to shoot a different load in the rifle? I was thinking of the concept of trying to mill a thread protector the same diameter length and weight as the muzzle brake. Would it also need the same balance point from the threaded end of the barrel? Would both ends have to be heavy and try to hollow out the center area to compensate for the missing weight (via holes) from the muzzle brake. Kind of the reverse concept of the Browning boss/boss CR minus the tune-ability.
Or am I way overthinking this just a plain old thread protector shoots just as good. It is on a 26" barrel 1.25" taper to .9xx"
Thanks
