Purple , where needed on my rifles. Never shook anything loose. Something nobody's mentioned when using the locktite back the torque values down a little. It is considered as lube.

Loctite suggests 25%.

I use #242 Loctite on all my scope base screws.
Call me fussy but one set of the rings has tighter or stickier inside radius than the other.
I feel like sanding it (yikes lol).
I get some time later in the week going to go over all and maybe ask the maker.
If this is in todays tolerance I'm going a different way.
Not complaining, I just need confidence.
